Short term reasons like because summer is coming up and you want to look good in the beach, or I want to lose weight because I have had enough of a lazy and binging lifestyle may provide a good initial boost, but reasons like: taking control of your weight to look good 365 days a year is a good example on how to get you consistent.

I went through a time as a beginner that I wanted to quit losing weight because it seems I have reached a plateau. I was stuck at a weight and look that even with all efforts and will power nothing seems to work anymore. A busy schedule and many things happening in life at times also get in the way.
